Unethical practises or behavior of human resource

Human resources are considered as one of the most important factor for an organization's survival.

What is human resource?
Human resources are the people who work for an organizationor firm
                               Or
The person  of a business or organization, regarded as a significant in terms of skills,abilities and they are significant asset of an organization

Some of the unethical Practises or behavior of human resource are-

1. Misusing company time-

Whether it is covering for someonealtering a time sheet or instead of showing up late showing on time entry . This category includes that people using the working hours of business for his or her own work or satisfaction.

2. Abusive behavior-

Too many workplaces are filled with managers and supervisors who use their position and power to mistreat,abuse or disrespect others.Even if you are in a situation of abuse based on gender, individual race there is often no legal protection against abusive behavior at the workplace. 

3. Employee theft-

According to a recent study 3 out of 50 workers were caught stealing things from the organization. Even more startling is that these employees steal on average 5.5 times more than shoplifters who steal things worth of 25000 rather than them employee steal thigs worth of 75000. Employee fraud is also on the upper level, whether its check tampering, not recording sales in order to skim, or manipulating expense reimbursements. According to a report in united states the employee theft is growing rapidly.

4. Lying to employees-

The fastest way to lose the trust of your employees is to lying to employees, yet employers do it all the time. One of out every five employees report that their manager or supervisor has lied to them within the past year.The lead to the breakdown of trust and beliefs.

5. Violating company internet policies-

Cyberslackers.These are terms used to identify people who surf the Web when they should be working. It's a huge, multi-billion-dollar problem for companies. A survey conducted recently  found that everyday 70 percent people visit any other side which is irrelevant to their work or when they thought they have no work.

Conclusion-

According to a report people genrally follow ethical norms which are laid down by the companies.But the unethical behavior in employees is climbing up from 16 percent to 23 percent which is not a good sign.Even though with attractive HR policy organization are trying to reduce unethical practises of human resource but still it is not affecting it in such a manner that is expected.Such practises by employees lead to loss of trust and disruptes the bond between the management and employees
